Right Turn Android App (social traffic)


This is the android application we developed for the MSc Software Engineering at Imperial College. It was a group project of 6 students.
The purpose of the application is mining and analysing data from Twitter and Tfl and identifying traffic disruption events in London. Users of the application have the ability to view their local disruptions in a map or a list and can also report any traffic disruptions they are aware of.

Nokia R&D dreams up mind-bending tech

The Nokia team is working on some really interesting innovations that may someday lead to mobile devices with flexible displays, chameleon-like smartphones, and sophisticated mapping technology. Bending the phone u can either zoom in and out.

iPhone 4 bursts to flames!

According to a news report from Brazil an iPhone, left to charge overnight, caught fire just inches from its owner's sleeping face. As this wasn't enough another iPhone goes up in smoke on a plane in Australia. Watch out for your iPhone :)
